A better view of my pallet, so to speak, and the aftermath
Here are some of the ornaments pre-decorating. I figured our best bet was to lay them all out to see what we have, sort of like a pallet.
The tree!
After an unexpected interruption last weekend, we finally got to decorate the tree! In the two weeks since we brought it home, we’ve gone on a bit of an ornament buying spree both in stores and on eBay. My paranoia that I wouldn’t have enough decorations was somewhat unfounded, it would seem.
Partial shot of the tree with the garland! I had to mix matte and metallic but I’m hoping nobody notices. Can’t wait to put the ornaments on tomorrow!!
These lights made it on both Sven and the tree
As usual, we had a difference of opinion on how many strings of lights should go on the tree. Sadly, some of these did not make the cut.

Here is our tree before we decorated it. To describe it in a word, I’d say it’s impractical. However after Sven performed some surgery on it, we were able to fit my Barbie topper on.
